FICTION WRITING

I have been inspired by a wide range of fantasy and science fiction writers and films.  

Another major influence for me has also been my background in gaming and playing Dungeons and Dragons, Rolemaster/ICE/MERP and World of Darkness roleplaying systems since the 1980's.  

Haastenmoord was my first significant release in September 2024. It was soon followed by the release of my Kanarzand Trilogy - Kanarzand, The Dead King's Bones and Demon Stone from October-December 2024.  

A combined and revised version of the Kanarzand Trilogy was released on 31 October 2025 under a new title: Scholar, Shadow, Storm & Stone.  It is listed exclusively with Amazon Kindle Select for 90 days (free to subscribers) and is also available for purchase from Amazon Books in eBook and print on demand paperback formats.

I am currently working on a new fantasy novel named Aurelian for release in 2026.
